Coronavirus: 666 cases in New Europe area, no deaths

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 07 MAR - A total of 666 confirmed cases of coronavirus (+322 day-on-day) and no deaths were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as of March 6, according to official data of national authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). Most of cases of COVID-19 were registered in Germany (534, +272 in the last 24 hours), followed by Austria (47, +10), Greece (32, +23), Czech Republic (12, +7), Croatia (10, +1), Belarus (6), Romania (6, +2), Slovenia (6, +5), Estonia (3, +1), Bosnia and Herzegovina (2), Hungary (2, +2), Latvia (1), Lithuania (1), North Macedonia (1), Poland (1), Serbia (1, +1) and Ukraine (1). Serbia reported the first case of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. No confirmed cases were counted by WHO in Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Moldova and Montenegro and Slovakia as of March 6, 2020. (ANSA).
