Spain, Italy, Cyprus, and Greece are facing migratory pressure: EU

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 07 NOV - Greece, Cyprus, and Italy are experiencing "migratory pressure" as a result of a "disproportionate number of arrivals" over the previous year, as well as search and rescue operations at sea. Furthermore, given the overall migration situation—and particularly the incident in Ceuta—"Spain is also facing migratory pressure." As a result, these four member states will be able to "access the Solidarity Fund," subject to "the continued application of rules governing responsibility." This is stated in the most recent European Commission report on the implementation of the Migration Pact. (ANSA).
