Dal Mas (CEI) held talks with the Romanian Foreign Minister

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 05 NOV - Improving regional connections—bringing territories, citizens, and economies closer together—and promoting European integration: these were the central themes of a meeting in Bucharest between Franco Dal Mas, Secretary General of the Central European Initiative (CEI), and Romanian Foreign Minister Dan Neculăescu. The meeting took place on the eve of the CEI region's Foreign Ministers meeting, which is scheduled for tomorrow in Romania's capital. According to the CEI, Neculăescu emphasised how difficult it is to travel between even geographically close countries, demonstrating the need to invest in connectivity and closer cooperation. In this regard, the Minister emphasised the CEI's importance as a forum for dialogue and collaboration in support of European integration. (ANSA).
