"We have left three years of recession behind us, and now we are returning to growth," the CDU president stated at the conclusion of the Council of Ministers' two-day closed-door meeting at Neuhardenberg Castle in Brandenburg. "Full focus on growth," Merz said. "We are approaching the remaining months of 2026 with dynamism and great confidence," the chancellor declared. (ANSA).
