(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 5 - Croatia celebrates Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, Croatian Veterans Day, and the 31st anniversary of Military-Police Operation Storm with a central ceremony in Knin, according to Croatian public television. Croatian veterans and victims of the Homeland War raised the Croatian flag at the Knin Fortress. Parliament Speaker Gordan Jandroković praised Storm as a legitimate liberation operation, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković announced new rights for veterans, and President Zoran Milanović emphasised Croatia's victory through intelligence as well as force.
