(ANSA) - ROMA, JUL 23 - Italy will be the featured country at the second edition of the Short Film Forum, a regional platform dedicated to the development and promotion of new short film projects, scheduled for August 9-12 as part of the 25th edition of DokuFest in Prizren, Kosovo. The initiative, organized by the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Pristina, aims to strengthen cultural and professional dialogue between Italy and the countries of the Western Balkans, fostering new opportunities for discussion, exchange, and cooperation in the audiovisual sector. The cultural component will be highlighted through a special program of Italian short films produced in collaboration with Aamod—the Audiovisual Archive of the Workers' and Democratic Movement Foundation—which will present a selection of contemporary works from the Zavattini Prize and its own artist-in-residence programs. The program will be complemented by networking activities designed to foster dialogue and the emergence of new collaborations among professionals, institutions, and stakeholders in the Italian and Balkan audiovisual sectors. The Italian delegation will include representatives from the National Short Film Center, along with the directors and producers of the selected projects and representatives from Italian organizations involved in promoting Italian cinema. Elena Ciofalo, Director of the National Short Film Center and the ShorTO Film Market, and Alessandro Giorgio, Programmer at the National Short Film Center and the ShorTO Film Market, will be in attendance. The delegation will also include representatives from the three selected projects: screenwriter Andrea Da Fermo and producer Rocco Anelli of Intermezzo Films (Rome), for *Come capre sugli alberi*; director Anita Contini and producer Laura Catalano of Pr8duction (Rome), for *Initial Phase*; and producer Alessandro Bernard of I Cammelli (Turin), for *Creatura!* Finally, Gabriele Ragonesi will participate in the screening program on behalf of Aamod.
