(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, 14 MAR - The ambassadors of EU member states have reached an agreement to extend individual sanctions against Russia for another six months. The list includes more than 2,700 individuals, entities, and companies deemed to be involved in the aggression against Kyiv. The written procedure for the renewal has been launched and, European sources said, "it should be concluded within the next few hours." Without an agreement, the sanctions would expire tomorrow. Approval had so far been blocked by Hungary and Slovakia. The 20th package of measures against Moscow remains stalled, however, and will return to the table on Monday at the Foreign Affairs Council, together with the 90-billion loan to Kyiv. (ANSA).
