(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 13 - The number of bankrupt companies in Germany in 2025 reached a new high not seen since 2014. According to the DIHK Institute (German Industry and Chambers of Commerce), 24,064 insolvencies were recorded last year, up 10.3% from the previous year. "This was a particularly weak year for German businesses," said institute analyst Volker Treier. "On average, one company went bankrupt every twenty minutes," he explained. "The number of bankruptcies increased in 2014, with 24,085 cases," he added. (ANSA).
