There was no direct threat from Iran to the EU before the war: Polish FM

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 12 - Radosław Sikorski, Polish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, stated in an interview with Rzeczpospolita and Politico.eu that Iran did not pose a "direct threat" to Europe or the US prior to their recent attacks. "The United States and Israel naturally have their own assessment of the situation, but personally I have not seen a 'direct threat' to the United States, Europe, or even Israel," Sikorski explained, while also emphasising that "preventive wars can sometimes be justified": if this had happened with Nazi Germany, "the world could have saved a lot of suffering."
