
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 10 - Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, and Robert Fico, prime minister of Slovakia, met in Paris. "We discussed the importance of keeping energy prices affordable for Europeans while also ensuring Slovakia and the EU's supply security. Our energy independence is at risk. This will also be a central theme of our next European Council," von der Leyen wrote on X. "We also discussed the implementation of Next Generation and the necessary measures, including in the justice sector, for Slovakia to maximise the benefits of these investments," she added. (ANSA).
