The German Bundestag has approved reform of conscription

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, DEC 5 - The German Bundestag has approved the military conscription reform proposed by Friedrich Merz's administration. The bill was approved with 323 votes in favour, 272 against, and one abstention. Military service is still voluntary under the new rules, but all young men must fill out army forms and have a medical exam. (ANSA).
