
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 27 - The Romanian Ministry of Defence has announced that it will buy French air defence systems worth more than €620 million as part of a joint supply agreement with several other European countries, Sky News reported. The ministry confirmed that the agreement includes 231 Mistral man-portable air defence systems, 934 missiles, training, and logistics. The country's current air defences consist of F-16 fighters, Patriot systems, Lockheed Martin Himars rocket launchers, surface-to-air missiles, and anti-aircraft guns. (ANSA).
