(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 27 - "We will soon issue a communication to the eastern border regions outlining concrete steps to promote long-term prosperity, resilience, and security. The communication, which is set to be adopted next year, seeks to align all efforts—policies and investments—for the security and prosperity of the eastern border regions." EU Commission Vice President Raffaele Fitto confirmed this in a video message broadcast during the Committee on Citizenship, Governance, Institutional and External Affairs (Civex) meeting of the European Committee of the Regions in Prešov, Slovakia. "We can work together to ensure the prosperity and security of both sides of our border with Ukraine, transforming them into gateways to peace and stability. Let us flourish together in our shared European future," he concluded. (ANSA).
