Orban will ask Trump for exemptions from sanctions

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 31 - In his regular interview with Kossuth Radio, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated that during his meeting with US President Donald Trump on November 7 in Washington, he will try to persuade him to exempt Hungary from US sanctions on Russian oil. "To obtain exemptions from sanctions, it is important for the United States to understand the difficulties associated with our geographical location," the Hungarian prime minister explained, adding that he will inform Trump that Hungary, as a landlocked country, "depends on oil pipeline systems."
