(ANSA) - AMSTERDAM, OCT 17 - The PES Congress, which began in Amsterdam, voted to expel Smer, the Slovak political force founded by Robert Fico, from the party. "We are a progressive family, and all of our members believe in European values such as equality, the rule of law, and a strong social Europe," reads a message from the PES on X. (ANSA).
