(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 15 - "As part of the preparations for the European Council, I had a lengthy phone conversation with President Antonio Costa. I expressed my surprise that, once again, Ukraine is being prioritised over the EU's massive economic and political problems," Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico wrote in X. "I reminded Costa that I will not discuss new sanctions against Russia until the summit conclusions include instructions for the Commission on how to address the automotive industry crisis and high energy prices."
