
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 14 - North Macedonia has established its first National Artificial Intelligence Centre, dubbed "Vezilka," which will join the European AI Factories network. The centre will have direct access to European supercomputers, enabling researchers, startups, and institutions to develop cutting-edge AI-based solutions. Stefan Andonovski, Minister for Digital Transformation, announced that the project will bring together government, academia, and industry in a common mission to create a smart and sustainable digital future. The project will be led by the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FINKI), which has been funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe programme and the EuroHPC initiative. (ANSA).
