(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 7 - The Ministry of European Affairs in Skopje announced that North Macedonia will officially begin implementing the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) system today. This means that citizens and businesses will be able to send and receive euro payments to and from SEPA member countries under the same terms as within the European Union. North Macedonia effectively joins the European payments area with the operational launch of this system, which enables simpler, faster, and cheaper euro transactions. (ANSA).
