(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 18 - On Thursday, Croatian newspaper Novi List reported that Slovenia had formally proposed a cooperation agreement to Croatia for the construction of a new nuclear power plant called Krško 2, according to Slovenian news agency STA. The offer reportedly includes a 25% ownership stake for Croatia, but no management rights. According to Novi List, the proposal is much less favourable for Croatia than the current arrangement in Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NEK), where each of the two countries holds 50% and Croatia has a representative on the management board. Croatia should respond to the offer no later than the end of September or early October, according to STA. (ANSA).
