(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 8 - Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric has openly criticised Croatia and Slovenia's recent military and defence agreement. Following a statement issued by his ministry yesterday evening that did not specifically name the two countries, Djuric today pointed the finger at Zagreb and Ljubljana, claiming that the military agreement does not foster greater trust and closer cooperation in the region. The minister told public television station RTS that new bridges, not new walls, are needed in the Balkans. While any country's right to cooperate in the defence sector is unquestionable, Djuric noted that the process that led to the Croatia-Slovenia agreement was not transparent or inclusive. (ANSA).
