Italy, Poland, Germany among 26 contributors says Macron

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 4 - Italy, Poland, and Germany are among the 26 contributors to Ukraine's postwar security guarantees, French President Emmanuel Macron said Thursday after Premier Giorgia Meloni ruled out sending Italian troops to Kyiv. "Italy, Poland, and Germany are among the 26 countries" that will participate in the security guarantees, "with contributions ranging from the regeneration of the Ukrainian army to the deployment of ground, sea, and air troops, or the provision of bases," Macron said at the end of the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris. "Each has its own ways of contributing, some by sending troops to the territory, others by making their NATO bases available. I don't want to go into details here, but all three countries are important contributors to these security guarantees," he added. (ANSA).
