(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 4 - Slovakia, an EU and NATO member, "supports the fundamental principles of President Xi Jinping's proposed Global Governance Initiative and is willing to maintain close communication and coordination with China to make concrete efforts to reform and improve the global governance system." This was stated in a statement issued by Beijing's diplomatic service in relation to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's meeting with Xi this morning at the Great Hall of the People, as well as China's leader's recent proposal to overturn the US-led global order that emerged following World War II.
