(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 3 - According to a White House reporting team, Donald Trump will soon meet with Polish President Karol Nawrocki, a populist conservative who is closely aligned with the MAGA movement. This will be his first foreign trip as Polish president, as well as his second meeting with Trump. The two first met briefly in June during the Polish presidential campaign, when Nawrocki attended a religious event in the Rose Garden and posed for photos with Trump in the Oval Office, widely interpreted as a sign of Trump's support. According to Nawrocki's office, the White House talks will primarily address security issues affecting Poland and the wider region, such as the conflict in Ukraine. (ANSA).
