(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 29 - Paris and Berlin are "determined to defend the sovereignty of the European Union" and will increase air defence supplies to Ukraine "given the massive Russian attacks" on the country in recent weeks, according to a joint statement released today at the end of the Franco-German Council of Ministers meeting in Toulon, southern France.
