(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 13 - Germany's inflation rate, as measured by the year-on-year change in the consumer price index (CPI), was +2.0% in July 2025, according to Destatis, the German statistical office. In June 2025, the inflation rate was also +2.0%, up from +2.1% in May and April 2025. "The rate of inflation has stabilised since the beginning of the year and remained unchanged for two consecutive months," says Ruth Brand, President of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). "Energy prices are continuing to fall, reducing overall inflation. On the other hand, the increase in service prices, in particular, remains above average and is contributing to inflation. Consumer prices in July 2025 increased by 0.3% over June 2025. (ANSA).
