Croatia records increase in tourist arrivals in June

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 12 - According to data released by the Croatian Statistical Office (DZS), Croatia recorded 3.2 million tourist arrivals and 14.3 million tourist nights in commercial accommodation establishments in June 2025, representing a 12.6% increase in tourist arrivals and a 14.5% increase in tourist nights over June 2024. According to DZS, foreign tourists realised 2.8 million arrivals and 13.3 million nights, which was 11.9% more arrivals and 14.2% more nights compared to June 2024. July could, however, paint a darker picture. Croatia received 4.6 million visitors in July, a 2% decrease from the same month last year, with 29.2 million overnight stays, a 1% decrease, according to local media, citing data from the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ).
