Bosnia, Dodik's mandate as president of Serb entity revoked

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 6 - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Central Election Commission decided today to revoke Milorad Dodik's mandate as president of Republika Srpska, following his one-year prison sentence and six-year ban from all political activity for disobeying the decisions of the International High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, which was upheld on appeal in recent days. Republika Srpska is Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb-majority entity. (ANSA).
