(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUL 28 - According to Wolfgang Niedermark, president of the German Industry Federation (BDI), the new tariffs imposed by the US-EU agreement mark "the beginning of a new trade order." "We do not believe the negotiations were carried out poorly," he stated, but "today is not a good day for the economy." Niedermark also stated that the agreement has some positive aspects, particularly the avoidance of an escalation, but he reiterated that he expects "significant growth losses for our industry."
