Tourist flows from the Balkans increase 9.3% in 2025

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUL 18 - In the first half of 2025, airport tourist flows from the main Balkan countries (Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, and Montenegro) increased by 9.3% to Italy. Greece remains the leading source market, with over 254,000 arrivals, up 7.3% from the same period last year. Albania follows (110,468 arrivals, up 29.5%) and Bulgaria (51,764 arrivals, despite a 2.5% decrease). The data are included in an ENIT (Italian National Tourist Board) study released this morning by the Ministry of Tourism during the "Bridging Destinations" forum, Italy's first tourism forum with the Balkans.
