IMF removes Kosovo from list of conflict-affected countries

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUL 17 - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has removed Kosovo from the list of fragile and conflict-affected countries, according to a press release issued today in Pristina. The World Bank made a similar decision a few days ago. The Central Bank of Kosovo (BQK) viewed Kosovo's removal from this list as a significant milestone, reflecting the country's ongoing progress in institutional sustainability, macroeconomic stability, financial governance, and the rule of law. (ANSA).
