
(ANSA) - BERLINO, JUL 3 - U.S. startup Lyten is acquiring Europe's largest battery factory in Gdansk, Poland owned by bankrupt Northvolt. Lyten intends to restart production immediately. Both parties have decided not to disclose the economic details of the deal, but the process will be completed by the third quarter of this year.Lyten is a company founded in 2015, focuses on supermaterials applications, has received more than $425 million in equity investment and secured letters of intent for $650 million in financing from the U.S. Export-Import Bank. The acquisition is part of a plan to expand Lyten in Europe. (ANSA).
