Hungarian Parliament appoints Constitutional Court president

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 12 - The new Constitutional Court president in Hungary, former Republic Attorney General Peter Polt, considered an Orban loyalist, was elected by Prime Minister Viktor Orban's majority in the Hungarian Parliament. Polt was Chief Prosecutor for 15 years and helped prevent widespread regime corruption through rigged procurement from being investigated or prosecuted. (ANSA).
