(ANSA) - PRAGUE, JUN 12 - Czech President Petr Pavel has asked the US to give Europe more time to define continental security and deter Russia's aggression. Pavel told Bloomberg that European countries need US support to maintain peace in Ukraine and that President Donald Trump can ask Europe to significantly increase defence spending. Some of Washington's defence mechanisms will take years to replace, he said. (ANSA).
