Floods in Romania, damages and evacuations

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 29 - Heavy rains in Romania have caused floods in several regions, forcing hundreds of people to leave their homes. According to regional media, high water has affected over 200 localities in approximately thirty districts, forcing the evacuation of over 500 people who had previously been isolated. Botosani, Brasov, Kovasna, and Vranca districts have the most critical situations on record. One person was killed by lightning during a violent storm. (ANSA).
