China, from EU, NATO unfounded accusations on hacker attacks

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 29 - China expressed "strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition" to the EU and NATO's statements "full of speculation and unfounded accusations" about Beijing's involvement in security issues, claiming that a cyber attack on the Czech Republic's Foreign Ministry was linked to a hacker organisation associated with the People's Republic. A spokesperson for the Chinese mission in Brussels said in a statement that Beijing "has always firmly opposed and repressed all forms of cyber attacks, in compliance with the law, and does not encourage, support, or tolerate hacker attacks."
