(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 12 - According to the German Federal Statistical Office, tourism fell 7.7% in March 2025 compared to March 2024, based on the number of overnight stays. One possible explanation is that the Easter holidays in 2024 were almost entirely in March, whereas in 2025 they were in April. The decline was greater for overnight stays by German citizens (-8.4%) than for foreign visitors (-4%). (ANSA).
