
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 6 - Luca Gori, the Italian Ambassador to Serbia, hosted the event "CEI Fund at the EBRD contributed by Italy: presentation of operations in Serbia," which was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Central European Initiative (CEI). The conference was attended by CEI Secretary General Franco Dal Mas, Serbian Minister of Trade Jagoda Lazarevic, and Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starovic. The seminar, part of a roadshow organised by CEI and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the Western Balkans and other countries benefiting from CEI programmes, focused on the organization's role in assisting candidate states in their EU accession process. The CEI Fund at the EBRD, which is entirely funded by Italy and operates through Technical Cooperation (TC) and Knowledge Exchange Programme (KEP) projects, was specifically highlighted at the event.
