EU supports continued Belgrade-Pristina dialogue: Kallas

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 07 APR - The European Union is working to support the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina to speed up the normalization process between the two sides. EU High Representative Kaja Kallas stated this. Speaking today at a press conference in Podgorica alongside Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, Kallas—as reported by Serbian media—underlined that consultations are underway with the EU's new Special Representative for Kosovo, Peter Sorensen, to analyze how the dialogue is being conducted and assess what is and isn't working in the current negotiation approach. She emphasized that normalizing relations is crucial for Belgrade and Pristina since "without it, neither side will be able to make progress on the path toward EU integration." Kallas arrived in Montenegro today. As part of her first mission to the Western Balkans, she will also visit Albania, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. (ANSA).
