(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAR 17 - "We have seen the news and the accusations" made against Serbian authorities of using a sonic cannon to disperse the crowd during the demonstration held on Saturday, March 15, in Belgrade, "and we expect a rapid, transparent, and credible investigation into these allegations." This was stated by a European Commission spokesperson during the daily briefing. The spokesperson recalled the authorities' obligation to "protect demonstrators from violence." (ANSA).
