Austria's three-party government agreement is close: media

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 26 - The Austrian parties ÖVP (Austrian People's Party), SPÖ (Socialist Party), and Neos (Liberals) have confirmed their intention to form a government coalition, according to Austrian media. The presidents of the three parties, Christian Stocker (ÖVP), Andreas Babler (SPÖ), and Beate Meinl-Reisinger (Neos), have communicated the results of consultations to Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. The three parties assured that, while some issues remain unresolved, the finalisation process is now underway, and the new government could be formed as early next week. (ANSA).
