Hungary and Slovakia say no to military aid package to Kiev

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 24 - Hungary and Slovakia oppose the new military aid package for Kiev proposed by EU High Representative Kaja Kallas at today's meeting of EU Foreign Ministers. "On behalf of Slovakia, I can say that we will not accept, without any clarification, that the European Union assumes the entire burden of financing Ukraine in this conflict as long as the United States suspends its aid to Ukraine," said Juraj Blanár, Slovakia's head of diplomacy, at the meeting's conclusion. "It is necessary to discuss this issue at the summit, he added, because the decision will be made by the European Council." (ANSA).
