
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 14 - Following meetings in Belgrade and Bratislava, Franco Da Mas, Secretary General of the Central European Initiative (CEI), continued his mission by visiting Budapest. The Secretary General met with Péter Sztáray, Hungary's State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Security Policy, and Energy Security. The meeting covered the main topics on the CEI agenda, including the promotion of European integration, regional cooperation, the situation in Ukraine, sustainable development, and CEI strengthening. Dal Mas recalled the CEI's commitment to supporting the European Union's accession process, beginning with the Western Balkan countries, as well as the pursuit of support for Ukraine through increased cooperation with the CEI.
