(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 16 - In 2024, consumer prices in Germany increased by 2.2% on an annual average compared to 2023. According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the inflation rate in 2024 was significantly lower than the previous three years. On an annualised basis, inflation was +5.9% in 2023, +6.9% in 2022, and +3.1% in 2021, respectively. (ANSA).
