(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JAN 14 - With the new European Commission, the enlargement process "will accelerate, but I stress that it is a question of time: either everything will happen quickly enough to guarantee peace, or the decisive and irreversible influence of the great foreign powers, particularly Russia and China, but also Turkey," said former Slovenian President Borut Pahor. Pahor spoke today at the Italian Senate's conference 'The Western Balkans and their Path to Europe,' which was organised at the initiative of Senator Tatjana Rojc. (ANSA).
