(ANSA) - TRIESTE, NOV 14 - Slovenia's Foreign Ministry condemned the decision of the municipal council of the Italian city of Gorizia to vote against a proposal to deprive fascist leader Benito Mussolini of the title of freeman of Gorizia. According to Slovenian news agency STA, the Foreign Ministry stated that the decision is particularly harmful as the people of Nova Gorica and Gorizia prepare to take on the title of European Capital of Culture. On Monday, the council voted 19 to 11 against a proposal to strip Mussolini of the title he received in 1924. (ANSA).
