(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 30 - Approximately 200 personnel from NATO's newly established Allied Reaction Force (ARF) will be deployed to the Western Balkans from September 30 to October 16, NATO informed. This deployment marks the ARF's first operational action since its formation in July 2024. About 50 members will be stationed in Kosovo, while around 150 will form a command node in North Macedonia. Their activities will focus on training and ensuring readiness to support the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR). (ANSA).
