(ANSA) - BELGRADE, DEC 1 - "Energy independence and the transition to renewable energy represent a strategic goal for Lithuania, which will be achieved through the adoption of firm and targeted decisions," said Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda today at the COP28 meeting in Dubai. Nauseda highlighted his country's intention to become a green energy exporter by 2030, nearly tripling electricity production from renewable sources. (ANSA).
