Poland’s New Financial Support to Know-how Exchange Programme

The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to make a voluntary contribution of €25,000 to the CEI Know-how Exchange Programme (KEP), an instrument which supports projects and programmes focused on the transfer of know-how and best practice from EU to non-EU CEI Member States.

Poland had already made a similar contribution to the Programme in 2008. In addition to providing financial support, Poland, through its institutions,  has also been very active as know-how donor by providing best practice and transformation experience to 16 KEP activities.   Since its establishment in 2004, the KEP has revealed itself as one of the most successful initiatives of the CEI. It is currently supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the CEI Fund at the EBRD and by the Austrian Development Cooperation.   For more information: www.ceinet.org/KEP
