XI CEI Youth Forum on “the Role of Information in Youth Policy Context”

This year’s XI CEI Youth Forum held on 2-4 November in Subotica (Serbia) under the Serbian Presidency was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Serbia. The event gathered representatives of national institutions in charge of youth as well as of non-governmental organisations from 16 CEI Member States (Belarus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine).

The Forum was opened by the Assistant Minister for Youth, Ms. Snezana Klasnja.
CEI Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Zoran Jovanovic welcomed participants on behalf of the CEI Secretariat.

Under the theme  “the Role of Information in Youth Policy Context”,  participants had the chance to discuss issues regarding the nature of human communication as well as the influence of media in creating and presenting information. 

The discussions resulted in the elaboration of a Final Declaration eventually submitted to the Heads of Government of the CEI Member States.
