Our Deputy Secretary General Yurii Mushka attended the Warsaw Security Forum (WSF) on 29–30 September 2025 as an institutional partner representative. Organised by the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, the Forum convened senior policymakers, experts and practitioners to discuss Europe’s defence, resilience and regional cooperation agenda.
Across the two-day programme, DSG Mushka engaged with counterparts on practical ways to strengthen cooperation in support of a rules-based international order, with particular attention to regional solutions and partner coordination.
Within the Forum, the roundtable “The Role of Media in the Democratic Shield: Between Anarchy, Political Control and Foreign Interference” was held as a session in partnership with the CEI Cooperation Fund, reflecting our commitment to democratic resilience, media freedom and an informed public sphere across the region.
Our democratic shield must be built on transparency, pluralism and trust, not on censorship and propaganda. Said Deputy Secretary General Mushka
The CEI thanks once again the organisers and interlocutors for the constructive exchanges and is eager for ongoing collaboration in order to advance security, stability and prosperity across Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
